Our Story

Rebecca Peache was born and raised in London, England where she studied ballet and musical theater at the Central School of Ballet, and the London Studio Center.

Born and raised in Paris, France Donovan Jones (and his family) moved to NY when he was 14, going on to study acting and musical theater at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in NYC.

After meeting in rehearsals in NYC, Rebecca and Donovan fell in love, and soon moved back to Paris, where Rebecca became a showgirl at the Moulin Rouge, and Donovan starred in the 30th anniversary french revival of Hair.

In 2004, Donovan and Rebecca started teaching themselves duo acrobatics, going on to appear on several television shows, including the “Got Talent” franchise in London, Paris, and NY, and several editions of ‘Guinness World Records” in China, UK, and Germany, setting or breaking 7 records in the process.

After years of performing all over the globe for private, and corporate events, tv shows, luxury and mega cruise ships, Donovan and Rebecca relocated from their London waterfront loft(facing the Queen Elizabeth Stadium) to the US. They bought and refurbished a modest 5k sq ft property in Historic Galveston, TX. The two story building was built in 1889, and retained many of its original features (including its original pine floors).

As part of the refurb, the downstairs was turned into an aerial circus arts studio, and a part time speakeasy performance venue. After the pandemic, they searched for a larger venue, in order to include a wine bar, as well as what would now need to be a full time events space. They found a 1940s property boasting 17,500 sq ft, and a building with airplane hanger like ceilings. They were hooked, and so began the 2 year long process of getting plans, permits, (contractors letting us down…) gutting and completely rebuilding the interior from scratch.

We cannot wait to welcome you in for a glass of wine, or authentic Belgian beer!
